The dragonfly has a very interesting life cycle. Firstly, an adult dragonfly lays egg in the water. After two weeks, the eggs hatch into larvae. These larvae eat small fishes and tadpoles. They do not form into pupae. After a few years, the larvae become adult dragonflies.
